Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs is confronting a significant legal setback as new allegations of abuse surface, involving approximately 50 additional victims, many of whom were minors at the time of the incidents.
The claims have been brought forth by a Texas law firm, which now represents a growing number of individuals alleging sexual assault at the hands of the rapper and his associates.
Attorney Tony Buzbee, representing the victims, announced on his firm’s Instagram account that they were approached by another law firm to take on the cases of more than 50 individuals who have suffered at the hands of Combs.
“This group of brave individuals includes both men and women; many were minors when the abuse occurred. Some of these brave individuals reported the incidents to the police, while others did not,” he stated in the post.
Buzbee described the stories of the alleged victims as “gut-wrenching and heartbreaking,” noting that the abuse allegedly occurred in hotels, private homes, and during infamous parties dubbed ‘Freak Off’ hosted by Combs.
Buzbee indicated that he expects the number of alleged victims to increase as the legal proceedings unfold, suggesting that “many other individuals will be implicated” in the case.
Combs, currently detained at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, was arrested on September 16th at a hotel, following his failure to appear at scheduled court hearings.
This latest indictment is part of a broader case filed in New York last November, where the rapper was accused of kidnapping, drugging, and coercing women into sexual activities, often using firearms and threats of violence during his notorious parties.
During a raid at Combs' residence, authorities reportedly discovered over 1,000 bottles of lubricant, further fueling the gravity of the allegations.
Buzbee is scheduled to hold a press conference early next week, where he plans to provide further details to the public regarding the claims against Combs.
