Pakistan’s total liquid foreign reserves have dropped to $13,030.8 million, with the central bank holding reserves of $7,615.4 million, said State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) on Thursday.
The central bank reported a $21 million decline in its own reserves during the week ending September 28, 2023, bringing the total to $7,615.4 million.
Simultaneously, the net foreign reserves held by commercial banks amounted to $5,415.4 million.
Compared to the previous week, which ended on September 22, 2023, the country’s total liquid foreign reserves were valued at $13.162 billion.
The central bank owned $7.636 billion in reserves out of this total, whilst commercial banks maintained $5.525 billion in net foreign reserves.
