The dengue threat continues to loom in Punjab as 172 cases reported across the provinces during the last 24 hours.
According to details that surfaced on Wednesday, Rawalpindi had reported 157 dengue cases. Lahore had recorded eight cases, whereas Jehlum had reported two cases.
Gujranwala, Attock, Chakwal, Sargodha, and Okara had recorded one case each.
Meanwhile, 3,771 cases had been reported in the province so far.
904 cases had been reported in Punjab during the last seven days.
The stock of dengue and other medicines is available at all the public hospitals.

Few days back, Punjab Health Minister Khawaja Imran Nazir was looking to control dengue in the province.
Expressing his thoughts, Nazir said on Wednesday: “All the concerned departments should extend their cooperation to the district administration to control the dengue in the province.”
“The dengue is not lethal, but precautions are required,” he said.
Nazir said, “All the activities are being monitored to control the dengue.”
