Radhika Apte is expecting her first child, surprising fans as she debuted her baby bump at the screening of her movie 'Sister Midnight' at the BFI London Film Festival on Wednesday, October 16.
The actress subtly announced the news by sharing pictures from the event on social media, though she didn’t mention her pregnancy. Captioning her post simply as “SISTER MIDNIGHT UK Premier #lff2024,” the photos showed Radhika posing on the red carpet solo and with the film’s cast and crew.

Dressed in a black, off-shoulder midi dress with her hair styled in a bun, Radhika received an outpouring of congratulations. “Omg!!! She’s pregnant, how exciting,” one fan commented. “Congrats on the premiere and your pregnancy! You look stunning,” wrote another. “Congratulations on all fronts,” read another comment.
Radhika has been married to British violinist and composer Benedict Taylor since 2012. The couple, who splits their time between London and Mumbai, maintains a low profile despite being in the entertainment industry.
They met in 2011 when Radhika was in London studying contemporary dance and began living together soon after. The two had a small wedding in 2012, followed by an official ceremony in 2013.
