The Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship, Customs and Ports Security (ICP) has announced that more Indian nationals can now benefit from a visa on arrival in the UAE.
Indian citizens holding tourist visas from the UK and EU can now access this option, previously limited to those with US resident or tourist visas.
To qualify, both the applicant's visa and passport must be valid for at least six months. Eligible travelers can obtain a 60-day visa for Dh250. The ICP also updated its fee schedule, stating that a 14-day entry visa for Indian nationals holding US, UK, or EU visas costs Dh100, with an option to extend.
Major General Suhail Saeed Al Khaili, ICP Director General, emphasized that this extension supports the strategic partnership between the UAE and India, aiming to enhance economic ties and position the UAE as a global tourism hub.
