An Indian flight traveling from Ahmedabad, India to London faced an alleged bomb threat on Thursday, prompting swift action by air traffic controllers in both India and Pakistan, according to sources.
Upon receiving the bomb alert, the Indian air traffic control tower contacted Pakistan’s Karachi region air traffic control to assist in handling the situation.
Pakistan’s air traffic controllers provided immediate support, coordinating closely with their Indian counterparts through voice communication.
Sources report that the Pakistani air traffic controllers safely guided the Indian plane through Pakistani airspace.
After crossing Pakistan, the plane continued its journey into Afghanistan’s airspace.
