Newly appointed white ball team captain Muhammad Rizwan and vice-captain Salman Ali Agha met with Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Mohsin Naqvi.
During the meeting, Naqvi extended his best wishes to both players, expressing confidence in their leadership as the team prepares for the series against Australia and Zimbabwe.
Naqvi emphasized the honor of leading the national team and highlighted the high expectations placed on them, stating, "The nation expects good performance from the team under your leadership."
He underscored the talent and professionalism of the Pakistani players, urging them to play united and fight till the last ball, as this unity would be key to their success.
Rizwan and Agha expressed gratitude to Naqvi for his support and conveyed their determination to meet the nation’s expectations during the tour. "We will try hard to meet the expectations of the nation," Rizwan stated.
PCB Chief Operating Officer Salman Naseer was also present at the meeting.
