Pakistan all-rounder Faheem Ashraf said on Wednesday that the playing conditions were tough with the new ball.

Addressing a post-match conference in Hamilton after Pakistan's defeat against New Zealand in the second ODI, Ashraf said, "When Naseem Shah and I were batting, the ball got old."
He stated, "I cannot isolate myself by performing individually in a losing cause. We are looking to win matches."
"Backing each other as a unit will help Pakistan win matches," said Ashraf.
It is pertinent to note that Faheem Ashraf’s 73 off 80 balls went in vain and Pakistan got drubbed at the hands of the Black Caps again in the second ODI at Seddon Park in Hamilton.
