The Frontier Corps (FC) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa South has launched the ‘Wall of peace and hope" in an efforts to instill a sense of ownership and pride among the youth and citizens of Dera Ismail Khan.
This initiative has aimed to highlight the positive aspects of society, particularly for the younger generation, through the depiction of local culture, national heroes, and martyrs.
The wall, located at the Government Boys Islamia College No. 2 – a historic educational institution in the region – showcases images that celebrate Pakistan’s rich culture, the city's iconic figures, and the sacrifices of national heroes.
The inauguration ceremony saw the participation of local dignitaries as well as civil and military officials. The attendees praised the initiative, describing the wall as a symbol of the strong bond between the community and the security forces. This endeavor has been hailed as an effort to further strengthen the relationship between the local residents and FC Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, fostering a sense of unity and shared purpose.
This project underscores a long-term commitment to promoting peace, unity, and collaboration among the people of Dera Ismail Khan, especially the youth, and is seen as a step towards enhancing community engagement and civic pride in the region.
