BTS member Jin, renowned for his heartfelt connection with fans, has once again left the ARMY emotional.
During an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon earlier this week, Jin shared the inspiration behind his track I Will Come To You from his debut solo album, Happy.
The 31-year-old K-pop star described the song as a love letter to fans who supported him during his mandatory military service. Jin, who completed his service on June 12, expressed his longing for the ARMY during his 18-month absence.
"For a year and a half, I had limited opportunities to see my fans. This song expresses how much I missed them during that time," Jin said, reflecting on his enlistment period, which began in December 2022.
The emotional revelation was met with thunderous applause from the live audience. Taking the moment further, Jin cupped his hands around his mouth and shouted, "I LOVE YOU, ARMY!" sending fans into a frenzy.

The track, Jin explained, is a heartfelt gesture to bridge the time spent away from his fans. The ARMY’s unwavering support was evident as the crowd erupted upon hearing the song title, knowing it was crafted exclusively for them.
Jin’s debut album Happy, released on November 15, has already received immense love globally. Featuring six tracks, the album showcases the eldest BTS member’s growth as an artist and his deep gratitude for the fandom.
Jin’s solo release comes as a milestone for BTS, as he is the last member of the seven—Jimin, Jungkook, J-Hope, RM, Suga, and V—to launch a solo album.
Since the album's release, Jin has been making selective appearances to promote Happy. His interview with Jimmy Fallon marks one of his first major outings post-military service, further fueling excitement among fans.
