The residents turned to local shops in Multan offering hot milk prepared with desi ghee and dry fruits to ward off the chill.
In the city, renowned for its cultural heritage, a unique delicacy, "Kadha Doodh", is crafted with coconut, cashews, almonds, dates, and desi ghee. Served in beautiful clay bowls, the milk delighted citizens, helping them forget the cold.
One of the visitors from Bahawalnagar, shared his experience. “The weather has changed, and it’s getting colder. We came to Multan to drink this hot milk. It has good quality nuts and ingredients,” he said.
Another of the customers highlighted the weekend tradition. “We often come here with friends to enjoy this aromatic, pure, and delicious milk,” he said.
Sardar Dogar, the milk-maker, elaborated on the preparation process. “Alhamdulillah, our milk is completely pure. It takes seven to eight hours to prepare, and we use a special qahwa to enhance its taste,” he said.
Served from large pots, the milk was priced at Rs150 for a small bowl and Rs250 for a large one.
