The historic Kohala Bridge, which connects Azad Kashmir with Pakistan, became the focal point of a massive gathering as the ‘Kashmir Banega Pakistan’ convention was held there.
The event saw a large participation of Kashmiri youth and women, who waved Pakistani flags and chanted slogans reinforcing Kashmir’s bond with Pakistan.
Organized by the All Jammu and Kashmir Muslim Conference, the convention took place at the Kohala entry point, a symbolic location for the 1947 historic resolution advocating Kashmir’s accession to Pakistan.
The event was attended by key leaders from the All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC), further strengthening the message of unity.
APHC Convenor Ghulam Muhammad Safi emphasized that Azad Kashmir is already a part of Pakistan, while the people of Indian-occupied Kashmir continue their struggle for Pakistan’s completion. He recalled the sacrifices of 1947 when the people of Azad Kashmir liberated their land through jihad and firmly aligned themselves with Pakistan.
Speakers at the event highlighted that Kohala Bridge stands as a historical link between Kashmir and Pakistan—one that cannot be weakened. They reiterated that Kashmir’s connection with Pakistan is eternal and only strengthens over time.
The convention, marked by passionate speeches and patriotic fervour, once again reaffirmed the unwavering aspiration of Kashmiris for unity with Pakistan.
