Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) chief whip Tariq Fazal Chaudhry on Saturday claimed the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) was looking to get favor from the United States (US) to save its political future.
Addressing a press conference in Islamabad, Chaudhry said, "The PTI workers are deliberately or unintentionally becoming part of the anti-state activities. The PTI really needs to think that their such acts would only harm them."
"The onus lies on the PTI to give its account in the parliament after staging the protests," Chaudhry said.
Recalling the vote of no-confidence motion against PTI founder Imran Khan, Chaudhry said, "The PTI founder had staged the cipher drama to avert the no-confidence move against him."
He said, "The entire nation is aware of the story behind the cipher, where the PTI founder spoke the lie in front of the masses."
"The PTI is fighting against the state instead of the political parties," he said.
