The Pakistan Army has successfully concluded an inter-division under-16 football tournament at Malir Garrison as part of its ongoing talent hunt program, with Karachi White emerging as champions after defeating Karachi Blue in a closely contested final.
The tournament featured four teams, with two representing Karachi and two from interior Sindh, showcasing the region's emerging football talent. All participating teams demonstrated competitive gameplay throughout the tournament, which was organized to identify and nurture young sporting talent.
The General Officer Commanding (GOC) Malir Garrison attended the event as the chief guest and distributed prizes among the participating teams and players. During the ceremony, the GOC emphasized the importance of sports in developing positive mindsets among youth.
Speaking at the occasion, the GOC noted that this initiative by the Pakistan Army would serve as a milestone for sports development in Sindh. He expressed optimism that the program would help identify and develop players capable of representing Pakistan at the international level in the future.
