The continuous diplomatic efforts of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Pakistan High Commission in New Delhi have resulted in the release of five Pakistani prisoners from Indian jails.
The freed prisoners were repatriated to Pakistan and crossed into the country through the Wagah Border in Lahore.
The Pakistan High Commission in New Delhi played a crucial role in facilitating the release and has reiterated its commitment to working towards the repatriation of other Pakistani prisoners still lodged in Indian jails.
The released individuals have been identified as Khadim Hussain, Muhammad Masroor, Nandlal, Jafar Hussain Zaidi, and Muhammad Amjad.
Officials have assured that efforts will continue to ensure the safe return of all remaining Pakistanis detained across the border.
