A joint operation by the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) and police in Mir Kalam Banda, Karak, resulted in the killing of five terrorists, police officials confirmed.
According to authorities, the operation was carried out in the early hours following intelligence reports about the presence of terrorists in the area.
Police further stated that no personnel from CTD or police suffered any casualties during the operation. The bodies of the deceased terrorists have been shifted to the District Headquarters (DHQ) Hospital for identification and further investigation.
Security forces have intensified their efforts against terrorism in the region, with operations continuing to ensure peace and stability.
