Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government has decided to condition all public services and government employment on children's mandatory vaccinations.
The proposal is set to receive formal approval during the cabinet meeting scheduled for February 13.
The decision aims to protect children from life-threatening diseases.
Under this policy, individuals who fail to vaccinate their children, including against polio, will be denied public services such as property transfers and firearm licenses.
Additionally, strict disciplinary action will be taken against any government employee obstructing child vaccinations.
The cabinet meeting, chaired by the Chief Minister on Thursday, will review an eight-point agenda.
Key discussions include financial packages for the chairman and members of the FATA Tribunal, approval of funds for the Karakar Tunnel project in Buner, and assessments of various developmental projects.
The revival of the KP Youth Development Endowment Fund and enhanced medical facilities for children with blood disorders are also on the agenda.
