Renowned Pakistani anchor Madeha Naqvi recently revealed her favourite food preferences.
During her appearance on the Samaa Digital programme, "Samaa Podcast Punjabi," the discussion revolved around the contrasting food cultures of Lahore and Karachi, two of Pakistan’s most vibrant cities.
Naqvi said: "I have a deep-rooted connection to Lahore, where I grew up, my fondness for Karachi’s food has grown over the years. Lahore has its beauty, but Karachi feels like home to me now.”
She elaborated on how Karachi’s diverse culinary scene, including Bohra and Bihari communities, offers a wide variety of delicious options that appeal to her taste.
She also mentioned how the city provides a mix of cultures, where both Urdu and Punjabi languages are spoken, enhancing the food experience.
Naqvi recalled how she used to be passionate about Lahore's food, but as time went on and after living in Karachi for over a decade, her attachment to the city’s food grew stronger.
