Meghan Markle has made a significant change to her Instagram presence following criticism over the rebranding of her lifestyle brand.
The Duchess of Sussex recently renamed her business from American Riviera Orchard to As Ever, announcing the shift through a casual selfie-style video shared on her official Instagram account.
However, the move quickly drew controversy after Francisca Mora Veny, the mayor of Porreres, a town in Majorca, accused Markle of copying its coat of arms for the brand’s logo.
Amid growing scrutiny, the former Suits actress appeared to respond by following the official As Ever Instagram page from her personal account—marking her first direct engagement with the brand on the platform.
On February 18, Markle addressed the launch of As Ever, calling it a reflection of her personal interests. “This has always been my love language, beautifully weaving together everything I cherish — food, gardening, entertaining, thoughtful living, and finding joy in the everyday,” she stated.
She further assured followers of more insights into the brand’s development, saying, “I will keep sharing behind-the-scenes tidbits with you here as we ramp up to launch, and I can’t wait for you to get your hands on everything we’ve been creating.”
