Light drizzle and cool winds have brought a refreshing change to Lahore’s weather, with several areas experiencing showers, including Gulberg, Kalma Chowk, Canal Road, Garhi Shahu and Ferozepur Road.
According to details, the weather change had resulted in a noticeable drop in temperature.
The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) had forecasted that the skies will remain cloudy for the next 24 hours, with chances of more rain in the region.
Meanwhile, after a long dry spell across the country, heavy clouds have finally burst, bringing much-needed rainfall to different cities of Punjab, Sindh and Balochistan.
In Punjab, cities like Dera Ghazi Khan, Multan, Rajanpur, Vehari, Mailsi, Ahmedpur Sharqia, Kot Addu, Jalalpur Pirwala, Lodhran, Dunyapur, Khairpur Tamewali, Fort Abbas, and Chishtian have experienced varying intensities of rain, which has made the weather more pleasant.
In Balochistan, areas such as Quetta, Dhadar, Sohbatpur, Chaman, Duki, Sibi, Kohlu, Kachi, Qila Abdullah, Jhal Magsi, Sanjawi, Mastung, and Nasirabad received rainfall with Quetta and Ziarat experiencing light snowfall, further dropping the temperature.
In Sindh, light rain in cities like Ghotki, Kashmore, Thul, and Kandhkot has also contributed to a pleasant change in the weather.
The weather department has predicted that the rainfall will continue for the next 24 to 48 hours, bringing relief to the parched regions.
