Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur has expressed his strong support for the Pakistan cricket team, emphasizing the importance of winning against India in their upcoming match.
Speaking to the media, Gandapur highlighted the nation’s emotional investment in cricket, stating that the entire country eagerly watches the match and feels disappointed when Pakistan loses.
"The national team must win the Pakistan-India match. There is a lot of investment in cricket, and the whole nation is watching this game," he remarked.
Gandapur urged Pakistani players to put in their best effort, acknowledging that victory and defeat are part of sports but insisting that a win against India is crucial.
He also commented on the absence of Fakhar Zaman, expressing disappointment over his injury but stating that other fit players are available to step up for the match.
The chief minister concluded his statement by praying for Pakistan’s success, hoping for a strong performance from the team. "May Allah bless Pakistan and grant us victory," he said.
