The Sindh Education Department has announced that matriculation exams for grades 9 and 10 will be conducted in April instead of Ramadan, providing relief to students observing the holy month.
The decision was taken during the steering committee meeting of the department.
According to the Sindh Education Department, the new academic year is set to begin on April 7 instead of March. However, practical exams for grades 9 and 10 will start from March 10 as per the revised schedule.
The theoretical examinations for matriculation will be conducted from April 7.
Intermediate exams schedule
The department has also decided that annual theoretical exams for grades 11 and 12 will commence from April 28, and the practical examinations after that.
