Cricket enthusiasts in Dubai are in for a special gesture of hospitality as the Emirates Cricket Board (ECB) has announced that free Iftar boxes will be provided to spectators observing Ramadan at the Dubai Cricket Stadium during the ICC Champions Trophy 2025.
This initiative ensures that fasting fans can break their fast comfortably while watching the matches, with Iftar boxes delivered directly to their seats. Regardless of their seating category—whether in the general stands, premier stands, pavilion, or platinum stands—all fasting spectators will receive complimentary meal boxes.
The Champions Trophy schedule coincides with the beginning of Ramadan in Dubai, which is set to start on March 1. Notably, the final group-stage match between New Zealand and India will take place on March 2 at Dubai Cricket Stadium. Additionally, one of the semi-finals is scheduled for March 4, and if India advances to the final on March 9, the stadium could also host the grand finale.
By offering free Iftar boxes, the ECB aims to enhance the overall experience for fans, ensuring they can enjoy both their spiritual commitments and the thrilling action on the field without any inconvenience. This thoughtful initiative reflects Dubai’s commitment to inclusivity and hospitality, blending the spirit of Ramadan with the excitement of world-class cricket.
