The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced the national squad for the upcoming tour of New Zealand.
Mohammad Rizwan will continue as the captain of the ODI team, while the T20 leadership has been handed over to Agha Salman.
Shadab Khan has been appointed as the vice-captain of the T20 squad.
During the tour, Pakistan will play five T20Is and three ODIs against New Zealand.
In a major decision, Mohammad Rizwan has been removed as T20 captain, with Agha Salman taking over the leadership. However, Rizwan will continue to lead the ODI team. Shadab Khan has been appointed as the vice-captain of the T20 squad.
Notably, Babar Azam, Naseem Shah, and Mohammad Rizwan have been dropped from the T20 squad, while Shaheen Afridi and Haris Rauf have been excluded from the ODI squad.
During the tour, Pakistan will play five T20Is and three ODIs against New Zealand.
