The price of gold in Pakistan experienced a hike on Friday, reflecting global market trends.
In the local market, the price of 24-karat gold per tola increased by Rs3,000, settling at Rs307,000, according to data shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold rise by Rs2,571, taking it to Rs263,203.

In the international market also, the price of gold saw an increase of $28 on Friday, reaching $2,921 per ounce with an additional premium of $20.
The price of 24-karat silver in the local market also increased by Rs31 trading at Rs3,400 per tola.
