An AN-32 transport plane of the Indian Air Force crashed at Bagdogra airport in West Bengal on Friday. The plane is being retrieved from the location.
Officials from the Indian Air Force (IAF) declared that the aircraft's crew was safe. According to the officials, the plane is currently being retrieved from the location.
Officials have confirmed that the crew members are uninjured and that no one has died in the event.
“There is no loss of life, efforts are on to recover the aircraft from the site,” a Ministry of Defence spokesman confirmed the event to the Indian media. The Indian Air Force has started working to recover the plane from the location.

According to sources, the crash landing caused damage to the airport's field infrastructure. According to the ministry official, the incident has spurred investigations into what caused the crash landing.
Earlier, an Indian Air Force (IAF) Jaguar fighter plane had crashed in the Ambala region of Haryana following a regular training flight from the Ambala airbase. IAF officials verified that the pilot was able to safely eject before the aircraft went down.
The accident happened at approximately 3:45pm. No fatalities or injuries were reported as the pilot manoeuvred the aircraft away from any habitation.
