Well-known podcaster Adnan Faisal has claimed that actress Hania Aamir demanded a fee of Rs2 million to appear on his podcast.
Speaking during a show on a private TV channel, Adnan Faisal, who has hosted around 500 podcasts, revealed that he has never paid any guest to appear on his show, which has featured various political, social, and entertainment figures.
During the discussion, he stated that he had reached out to Hania Aamir for an episode, but the actress requested Rs2 million for her participation.
Faisal added that while the amount may not be significant for a star like Hania, he decided against inviting her as it could set a precedent for paying guests.
“If I start paying one celebrity, others will also expect compensation, which will create problems,” he remarked.
He further noted that several actors willingly participate in his podcasts without any financial demands, questioning why only some should be paid while others contribute their time without compensation.
Faisal also addressed past controversies, including actress Saima Qureshi’s remarks about women’s earnings. He clarified that Qureshi, a senior actress and businesswoman running the clothing brand SQ, had expressed a personal opinion during his podcast.
Additionally, he commented on the entertainment industry’s culture, saying that illicit relationships among married male actors should come to an end.
There has been no response from Hania Aamir regarding the claim.
