Pakistani travelers planning a trip to Thailand can now apply for their visas online, as the Thai government has introduced an e-visa system, eliminating the need to visit the embassy.
The new system allows Pakistani citizens to apply for tourist, transit, and non-immigrant visas digitally, with processing taking up to 14 working days. However, travelers must carry a printed copy of their e-visa when boarding their flight, as digital copies will not be accepted.
Applicants are strictly advised to provide genuine documents, including airline tickets and hotel bookings. Submission of fake documents will lead to immediate rejection of the visa application, and the applicant or their travel agent may be blacklisted.
Additionally, Pakistani citizens must be physically present in the country throughout the e-visa application process. To verify their residency, applicants must upload proof such as rent agreements, utility bills, or Pakistan immigration stamps.
