School holidays were declared by Prime Minister Abdul Hamid Dbeibah, starting Sunday, March 16, and extending until the conclusion of the Eid al-Fitr celebrations.
The announcement came through a statement from his office, which confirmed that the Ministry of Education had been instructed to make the necessary adjustments to the academic calendar.
In his statement, Dbeibah praised the hard work of students, teachers, and parents who had diligently maintained the study schedule throughout Ramadan, culminating in the successful completion of the midterm exams.
The premier extended his best wishes for the continued success of all students.
