The highly anticipated third installment in the Pushpa franchise, titled Pushpa 3: The Rampage, is officially in the works.
Producer Ravi Shankar confirmed that the film is slated for a 2028 worldwide release, earlier than previously expected.
Before stepping back into the Pushpa Raj avatar, Allu Arjun will first complete his commitments to two major projects:
- A film with Atlee Kumar
- A film with Trivikram Srinivas
Director Sukumar, the mastermind behind the Pushpa series, is currently occupied with his next project starring Ram Charan, which is expected to take at least two years. Once both Sukumar and Allu Arjun wrap up their current commitments, Pushpa 3 will go into production.
Producer Ravi Shankar assured fans that, unlike Pushpa 2: The Rule, which faced multiple delays, Pushpa 3 will arrive on schedule in 2028.
Rumours are swirling that Vijay Deverakonda might join Pushpa 3 as the next big antagonist. Though no official confirmation has been made, speculation is fueled by Vijay’s 2022 tweet expressing excitement about working in the Pushpa universe. If true, this would set up a massive showdown between Allu Arjun and Vijay Deverakonda on the big screen.

Expectations for Pushpa 3: The Rampage are extremely high, given that Pushpa 2 has become one of the biggest Indian films of all time.
