A recent episode featuring comedian Munawar Faruqui has gone viral, sparking controversy online. Many social media users have accused Sana of contradicting her previous stance on distancing herself from the entertainment industry. A viral clip from the episode includes text suggesting, "She is coming back to her field but in a different avatar and look."
Critics have compared Sana to former actress Zaira Wasim, who completely withdrew from public life after leaving Bollywood. One user commented, “Zaira Wasim did tauba and never posted a photo, but Sana keeps appearing on different platforms.”
Another added, “She said TV is haram and removed it from her home, yet here she is, hosting a show online.”
However, some users defended Sana, emphasizing her transformation. “Whatever, she’s trying and has changed drastically. Don’t judge her,” one Instagram user wrote.
Sana Khan has yet to respond to the ongoing debate, but the controversy has reignited discussions about public figures balancing faith and fame.
