Emirates unveiled a new series of destinations to be served by its Airbus A350 aircraft, marking a significant expansion as more of the newly delivered jets entered service.
The move was part of the airline’s strategy to enhance its short- and medium-haul network across the Middle East, the GCC, and Europe. For the first time, the airline also introduced A350 operations to Africa and Southeast Asia.
Adnan Kazim, Deputy President and Chief Commercial Officer of Emirates, explained, “Our strategic expansion of A350 operations across diverse regions, including the Middle East, GCC, Europe, Africa, and Southeast Asia, demonstrates the flexibility and efficiency of this aircraft.”
The new A350 services will begin as scheduled flights to a number of destinations. Starting 1st June, Emirates will offer six weekly flights to Tunis and a daily flight to Amman. From 1st July, the airline will operate daily flights to Istanbul and Dammam. A daily service to Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam will commence on 1st August, followed by three weekly flights to Baghdad, starting 3rd August. A daily flight to Oslo will begin on 1st September.
Further announcements regarding additional A350 destinations, including long-haul routes, were expected as more aircraft joined the airline’s fleet in the coming months.
