The Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee and the Service Chiefs on Sunday extended their felicitations to the nation on the occasion of Pakistan Day, vowing to safeguard the country’s sovereignty and territorial integrity at all costs.
In a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the military leadership underscored the significance of March 23, marking it as the day when the foundation for an independent homeland was laid.
The statement highlighted that Pakistan continues to progress in accordance with democratic values and Islamic principles, asserting that the country is steadfast in strengthening its institutions and ensuring the well-being of its people.
“March 23 is a testament to our faith, hope, and resilience, reflecting the unwavering determination of the Pakistani nation. By the grace of Allah, Pakistan is advancing on the path of stability and prosperity,” the ISPR said.
The armed forces reaffirmed their commitment to national security, stating that they remain ever-vigilant to defend the country’s borders and uphold its sovereignty.
The statement also noted Pakistan’s role as a responsible member of the international community, engaged in fostering regional peace and stability.
The military leadership further stressed that the armed forces would continue to serve as guardians of national peace and security. “Pakistan is a harbinger of peace, and we will protect its sanctity at all costs, InshaAllah,” the statement concluded.
