Strong earthquake tremors were felt in the Pak-Afghan border areas on Wednesday morning, causing fear and panic among residents.
The tremors prompted people in Zhob and nearby regions to rush out of their homes and buildings.
According to the National Seismological Center, the earthquake had a magnitude of 5.0 on the Richter scale and occurred at a depth of 65 kilometers. The epicenter of the quake was located in the Hindukush mountainous region of Afghanistan.
Despite the intensity of the tremors, no casualties or property damage have been reported so far. However, the sudden jolt created panic among the locals, who feared aftershocks.
