The Central Directorate of National Savings (CDNS) has announced that the second draw for the Rs750 prize bond for the year 2025 will be held on April 15 in Peshawar.
The draw is part of the quarterly schedule released earlier this year, offering investors across Pakistan another chance to win cash prizes while retaining their original investment.
According to the official schedule, the April 15 draw will feature the following prize distribution:
-
First Prize: Rs1,500,000 (1 winner)
-
Second Prize: Rs500,000 (3 winners)
-
Third Prize: Rs9,300 (1,696 winners)
The Rs750 prize bond is among the most widely held denominations in Pakistan, valued by many for its affordability and potential for sizable rewards. Prize bonds are regarded as a secure savings mechanism, offering both safety against currency devaluation and the allure of periodic winnings.
The 2025 draw schedule for the Rs750 bond includes four quarterly draws:
-
January 15 – Karachi (already held)
-
April 15 – Peshawar
-
July 15 – Rawalpindi
-
October 15 – Muzaffarabad
Since its inception in the 1960s, the prize bond scheme has remained a popular government-backed savings initiative, administered by the CDNS in collaboration with the State Bank of Pakistan.
The bonds are available in various denominations, including Rs100, Rs200, Rs750, Rs1,500, Rs3,000, Rs7,500, Rs15,000, and Rs40,000, catering to a broad spectrum of investors.
The system serves dual objectives — mobilising funds for the government while offering a low-risk and tax-free savings option to the public. The draws are conducted quarterly under strict supervision, with results published through official channels shortly after each event.
Apart from the Rs750 bond, draws for other denominations are scheduled throughout the year in cities across Pakistan. The next upcoming draw will be for the Rs1,500 bond, to be held in Multan on February 17, followed by draws for the Rs200 and Rs100 bonds in subsequent months.
Investors are encouraged to verify their bond numbers through official portals and remain cautious of fraudulent claims.
