Former Pakistan cricketer Mohammad Yousuf said on Wednesday that Babar Azam should bat at number four in T20Is.
Expressing his thoughts on Samaa TV programme “Zor Ka Jor”, Yousuf said: “He [Babar Azam] is right now facing a problem with the new ball.”
“If Babar plays a longer innings at number four, then he can even finish a game,” he said.
Yousuf said: “Babar has the capability to hold firm if the team is facing a collapse.”
Speaking about Mohammad Rizwan, Yousuf said: “Rizwan can play the sweep shot well. But you have to improve your game in line with the team’s requirement.”
He stressed the importance of the senior players, saying, “The morale of young players is boosted with the presence of the senior players in the team.”
