Former Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chairman Ramiz Raja said that Fakhar Zaman needs to score big runs for propelling Lahore Qalandars to victory in the ongoing edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL).
Expressing his thoughts on his YouTube channel, Raja said: “Whenever Fakhar performs, the Qalandars come out of the doldrums. When he [Fakhar] sets a score, it allows Shaheen Shah Afridi to bowl well."
Raja also acknowledged the bowling prowess of Shaheen Shah Afridi, saying, “Shaheen Shah Afridi has made the match easy for the Qalandars by scooping up two wickets in a single over.”
“It becomes difficult for the opposition to chase a staggering total of over 200 runs by losing early wickets,” he said.
Speaking about Karachi Kings batter Shan Masood, Raja said: “Shan Masood needs to extend his innings in the middle overs particularly in a tough situation for the Kings.”
