Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan contacted Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar over the telephone and held a comprehensive discussion concerning bilateral relations and regional developments.
According to a spokesperson from the foreign office, both leaders conveyed satisfaction regarding the present state of Pak-Saudi bilateral ties and engaged in deliberations over pressing regional matters.
Dar apprised Prince Faisal of the determinations made by the National Security Committee in light of India’s unilateral measures.
Rejecting what he described as “India’s baseless allegations,” Dar had cautioned against any further provocations from New Delhi. “Pakistan shall respond with full resolve to any act of aggression,” stated Dar.
The Foreign Office further noted that both ministers reached consensus on continuing close coordination and consultations amidst the evolving regional landscape.
