Federal Information Minister Attaullah Tarar on Sunday warned India against any misadventure.
Addressing a press conference in Islamabad, Tarar said: "Pakistan remained in close contact with its friendly countries." He stated that India had always violated human rights and that undeniable evidence existed of Indian involvement in several incidents.
Tarar said that India appeared nervous and had not completed the required paperwork. He noted that the Pahalgam attack had taken place a few days earlier.
He said: "Pakistan itself had been a victim of terrorism and had remained on the front line against it, having made 90,000 sacrifices."
Tarar added that Pakistan had made many sacrifices in the fight against terrorism and that its economy had suffered losses of billions of dollars. He said that Pakistan condemned all kinds of terrorism and highlighted that innocent people had been taken hostage during the Jaffar Express attack.
He said that the entire world had condemned the Jaffar Express attack, but there had been no condemnation from India.
The information minister added that India had been involved in state terrorism within Pakistan.
He noted that Kulbhushan had been found to be involved in terrorist acts in Pakistan and alleged that terrorists had received funds and weapons from the eastern border. He affirmed that Pakistan would continue its war against terrorism and would ensure the safety of its citizens.
Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Attaullah Tarar remarked that Fitna-ul-Kharij refused to mention its agenda of violence.
He questioned why Pakistan had been accused without evidence when Pahalgam had been over 100 kilometres from the Line of Control, and an FIR had been registered within ten minutes of the incident. He stated, “We said that a transparent inquiry into this incident was necessary. Our hands are clean. Pakistan is a peaceful state. We want peace in the world.”
Tarar said that evidence existed that India had carried out terrorism in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. He mentioned that the Pakistani High Commission building in London had been attacked, windows had been broken, and stones had been thrown.
He affirmed that Pakistan would defend itself at all costs and added, “We are good hosts and we serve fantastic cup of tea.”
