The US dollar continued its upward trend in the interbank trading against the Pakistani Rupee and reached Rs282.90 with an increase of 25 paisas.
At the end of the day, the US Dollar closed at Rs283.42 with an increase of 77 paisas in the interbank market, according to the State Bank of Pakistan.
In the open market, the American currency gained 50 paisas and closed at Rs284.50.
Pakistani Rupee gained record Rs30 approximately against the greenback in October but the advance has now been halted amid the new deal negations with the International Monitory Fund (IMF) by finance ministry officials.
