The dengue outbreak in Punjab continues to grow, with an additional 169 cases reported in the province.
The total number of dengue-affected individuals in Punjab has now reached 9,862.
Over the past 24 hours, Lahore recorded 90 new cases, while Gujranwala reported 26 cases, underscoring the rapid spread of the disease.
Other cities in Punjab also saw an increase in dengue cases, with Multan reporting 17 cases, Rawalpindi with 16 cases, and Faisalabad registering 9 new cases.
The Punjab Health Department is actively treating 148 dengue patients in various hospitals across the province, as efforts to combat the dengue outbreak intensify.
