In an effort to improve access to essential services and streamline the child registration process, the Pakistani government has made Child Registration Certificates (CRC), commonly known as B-forms, a mandatory document for individuals under the age of 18.
This move is intended to ensure that all children have proper identification, which is crucial for accessing various government and private services.
New fee structure
The government has introduced a revised fee structure for obtaining a Child Registration Certificate (B-form) in 2023, with the goal of making it more affordable and accessible to the public. Under this new fee structure, there are two categories: Normal Fee and Executive Fee.
- Normal Fee: The regular fee for applying for a CRC is set at Rs. 50. This fee is designed to ensure affordability for all citizens.
- Executive Fee: For those seeking expedited services, an Executive Fee of Rs. 500 is available. This option is ideal for those who require their B-forms more quickly.
How to apply for B-form in 2023
To apply for a Child Registration Certificate (B-form) in 2023, individuals or parents are encouraged to follow these steps:

Visit the Nearest NADRA Registration Center (NRC): Locate your nearest NADRA Registration Center and visit it in person.
-
Obtain a Token: Upon arriving at the NADRA branch, obtain a token to begin the application process.
-
Capture Photos and Fingerprints: Provide the necessary photographs and have your fingerprints taken by NADRA staff.
-
Data Entry and Printing: A NADRA operator will enter your required data into the system and provide you with a printed form containing the information you've provided.
-
Attestation and Submission: After receiving the printed B-form, it must be attested by a gazetted officer to verify its authenticity. Once attested, submit the form to the concerned NRC.
