Notably, the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) faces allegations of preferential treatment in awarding contracts for food preparation and service to airport passengers.
Additionally, reports indicate a pattern of inaction in response to previous complaints regarding food quality and hygiene standards.

As the clip hit the internet, CAA director said that they were investigating the incident and that they had already sealed the lounge of a private company at the airport.
He added that the Karachi Airport manager has also been directed to look into the matter to ensure that such incidents do not happen in the future.
