The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) on Friday announced a 10-day extension for the party ticket application deadline in response to the smog-induced smart lockdown.
The decision, conveyed through a notification from the PML-N election cell chairman, cites the implementation of a smart lockdown as the reason for the date adjustment. According to the revised schedule, the applicants now have until November 20 to submit their party ticket applications.

– Shehbaz Sharif invites Raisani to join PML-N –
Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Shehbaz Sharif on Friday invited Haji Lashkari Raisani to join the party.
A delegation headed by Haji Lashkari Raisani called on the former prime minister in Lahore. On this occasion, Raisani expressed his gratitude to Shehbaz Sharif for inviting the former to join the PML-N.
Raisani said that he will take the decision in line with joining the PML-N after consultation.
On this occasion, Shehbaz Sharif underscored the importance of Balochistan. “The development of Balochistan is key to success for the entire country. The agenda of PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif in this regard has always remained clear.”

Shehbaz Sharif on Thursday asserted that former prime minister Nawaz Sharif had always served the masses with the “verve”.
The former lawmakers called on Shehbaz Sharif. Prominent among those who attended the meeting were Iftikhar Nazir, Rana Ishtiaq, Sajid Mehdi, Qamarul Islam, and Ahsan Raza Khan.
On this occasion, the PML-N leadership discussed matters in line with the upcoming general elections and party affairs.
Shehbaz Sharif had commended the party leaders and workers for playing their role in staging the public gathering at Minar-e-Pakistan on October 21, which marked the return of PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif.
