In order to make preparations for the Hajj 2024, caretaker Prime Minister Anwarul Haq Kakar has formed a committee under his supervision for the arrangements.
He said this while presiding over a meeting in Islamabad on Monday regarding advance preparations for next year Hajj. During the meeting, major decisions were taken to facilitate Hajj pilgrims next year.
During the meeting, the interim premier directed the caretaker Federal Minister for Religious Affairs and the federal secretary to visit Saudi Arabia.
He also directed to submit a report on complaints regarding private Hajj companies and to form a reform committee for this system.
Kakar also directed to create mobile application and website for Hajj facilities and registration of complaints.
In order to guarantee that pilgrims traveling through private enterprises do not encounter any issues, Prime Minister Kakar remarked that these companies should be properly monitored. He also emphasized that the arrangements for pilgrims should not be compromised.
