Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) senior leader Ahsan Iqbal launched on Saturday a fresh broadside at the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP).
Expressing his thoughts in Narowal, the former planning minister asserted, “The PTI and PPP had ousted Nawaz Sharif through the Panama conspiracy.
He lavished praise on PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif, saying, “The former prime minister Nawaz Sharif is key to success for the country’s development”.
Expressing his thoughts in Narowal, Iqbal took a jibe at the PTI chief, saying, “The PTI chief was the dearest to former chief justice Saqib Nisar”.

“The PPP cannot claim to make Pakistan like Karachi, and the PTI can’t say that it will make the whole country like Peshawar. But the PML-N can say that it can develop the entire country, like Lahore. The PML-N has claimed all the development projects,” Iqbal said.
Hitting out at the opponents, he said, “Nawaz Sharif’s opponents are in a state of panicking.”

Few weeks back, Iqbal said that his party will win the majority in the elections.
Speaking to the media in Lahore, the former planning minister recalled the ouster of PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif, saying, ‘’Nawaz Sharif was ousted as the premier through a conspiracy in 2017.’’
He asserted: ‘’Nawaz Sharif was not given the level playing field in 2018’’.
Expressing his views about the elections, he said, ‘’The elections in the country should be held on time to bring economic stability to the country.’’
He lavished praise on Nawaz Sharif, saying, ‘’It was Nawaz Sharif who addressed the problems in line with the power outages''.
