Caretaker foreign minister Jalil Abbas Jillani addressing the floor of the Senate meeting said that Pakistan took up the issue of Azad Visa holder's arrest with Saudi Arabia at a very high level.
FM Jilani observed that several times those holding independent visas are arrested in Saudi Arabia.
“The matter has also been raised with the Saudi Foreign Minister,” Jalil Abbas Jilani said and assured assured remedy in this regard.
A request will be made to provide jobs for those who go on work visas, the caretaker minister said. He told senators that Saudi Arabia gave 500,000 work visas in 2022.
“Those who went to Saudi Arabia on work visas will now also get jobs in Saudi Arabia,” he added.

He said the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has been asked to take action against beggars under the guise of Umrah. “Action has also been taken against two or three gangs in Multan and Lahore,” he added.
