Australia captain Pat Cummins and his teammates returned on Wednesday to the parts of Australia after bagging the sixth ODI World Cup title for their country.
Expressing his thoughts at the Sydney airport, the proud Australian skipper said, ‘’What I believe is that we have forwarded our legacy. It happens once every four years that the opportunity to play in the World Cup comes your way.”
‘’Playing the World Cup in Indian or similar conditions is not an easy task. As a group, we are pretty much satisfied,” Cummins maintained.

Cummins and Josh Hazlewood had touchdown Sydney in the wee hours of Wednesday. Mitchell Marsh and head coach Andrew McDonald arrived at the Melbourne airport. Marnus Labuschagne reached Brisbane.
The rest of the seven players did not leave the Indian shores as they are gearing up to take on India in the five-match T20I series, starting tomorrow.
