Another first information report has been filed against PTI Chairman Imran Khan in Mianwali.
The report was filed at the City Police Station in Mianwali. Former MNA Amjad Ali Khan is also booked in the case.
The FIR was filed on the application of a citizen named Saeedullah, who claimed he had a transaction dispute with the former prime minister in 2016.
According to the application, an amount of Rs5 million was embezzled and deposited in the Namal University at the behest of Imran Khan.

“I was not shown the receipt for the amount deposited, and I was verbally assured,” the applicant stated.
The City police registered the case under Section 406 of the PPC.
Earlier today, the Supreme Court adjourned hearings on the appeal of PTI Chairman Imran Khan against his indictment in the cipher case.
The court granted the adjournment, allowing the petitioner’s counsel to make amendments to the petition.

A three-member bench of the SC, headed by Justice Sardar Tariq, heard the request of the former prime minister.
Imran Khan’s lawyer, Hamid Khan, said the Islamabad High Court had announced a decision on Tuesday, in light of which he wanted to amend his application.
