Ministry of Foreign Office (MOFA) Thursday urged swift action against the terror outfit Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), calling attention to their activities operating from shelters within Afghanistan.
FO spokesperson Mumtaz Zahra Baloch stressed the Afghan government to address the TTP affair.
The FO representative expressed concern about the ongoing issue of terrorist acts launched from Afghanistan to Pakistan.
End TTP shelters in Afghanistan
While acknowledging the Afghan government's efforts against the banned TTP, she emphasised the necessity of bringing an end to their activities operating from shelters within Afghanistan.
Negotiations on security matters with the Afghan transit administration are currently in progress, she added.
Illegal Afghan refugees issue
Providing updates on recent policy changes, Baloch mentioned Pakistan's implementation of a travel policy from November 1, requiring valid documentation, including a mandatory visa for Afghan truck drivers crossing the border and Pakistani embassy in Kabul is actively facilitating the process.

The FO spokesperson said the situation in Gaza is highly condemnable and reaffirmed Pakistan's unwavering support for the Free Palestinian State, condemning the continuous violence.
She reiterated Pakistan's stance regarding Israel's atrocities against Gazan children.
Halal meat ban in UP
Ms. Zahra Baloch raised the issue of a ban on halal items in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. She termed it as Islamophobic and anti-minority actions, indicating a worrying decline in tolerance for Muslims in India.
PM Kakar to attend COP28 in Dubai
Caretaker prime minister Anwar ul Haq Kakar will participate in the World Climate Summit COP28 on December 1.
The COP28 will kickoff on Dec 1 and conclude on Dec 14.
Baloch said that PM Kakar will engage in crucial bilateral meetings during his UAE visit.
